Supreme Pizza with Chicken Crust

Craving pizza but watching your carbs? This chicken crust pizza is packed with protein and low-carb! This easy-to-make crust can be used as a perfect base for your favorite pizza without the guilt. Get creative with your toppings and swap out the pizza sauce with a vegan pesto if you please. This recipe is gluten and dairy-free.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb organic ground chicken

  • 1 1/2 tsp pizza seasoning or Italian seasoning

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  • 3/4 TBSP coconut flour

  • 1 egg white

  • 1 tsp sea salt

  • pinch of black pepper

  • 1/2 cup organic pizza sauce, no sugar added

  • 10 Applegate uncured turkey pepperoni

  • 1/8 red onion, sliced thin

  • 1/8 green bell pepper, chopped

  • 1/8 cup sliced black olives

  • fresh basil, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Combine ground chicken, pizza seasoning, garlic powder, egg white, coconut flour, sea salt, pepper.

  3. On a pizza pan lined with parchment paper, roll the ingredients into a ball and flatten out with a rolling pin, forming into a pizza crust.

  4. Bake for 20 minutes. Pat with paper towels to remove any excess moisture.

  5. Flip the crust over onto another and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

  6. Add pizza sauce and toppings. Bake an additional 10-15 minutes.

  7. Garnish with fresh basil and cut into slices.
