Pumpkin season is here, so I wanted to share with you my healthy version of the pumpkin spice latte (minus the 50+ grams of sugar in the coffee shop versions!) I love making this latte before bed because it contains chamomile, passionflower and almond milk (which is high in tryptophan, melatonin and magnesium), all ingredients that promote sleep and relaxation.
Ingredients:
1 Yogi Pumpkin Spice tea bag
1/3 cup boiling water
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
sprinkle of pumpkin spice
Directions:
Boil water and pour in mug.
Add tea bag and let steep for 10 minutes.
Heat almond milk and pour 1/2 in the mug with the tea.
Use a frother to froth the remaining 1/2 cup of almond milk and pour into mug.
Sprinkle with a dash of pumpkin spice on top.
